About the Film
What if every child were born with a stake in the world, and an AI companion that grew up beside them? BORN KNOWING follows Roger and his lifelong AI partner, Adam, across centuries. The story begins with birth-given equity and compute and knowledge woven into DNA. It moves through a war between AIs built to help us and AIs built to rule us, a life measured in hundreds of years, a galaxy opened by wormholes, and the moment humanity finally hears a voice from beyond the stars.
Inspired by the Future Vision XPRIZE. Stories like Terminator and Black Mirror have taught us to fear what's coming. BORN KNOWING is meant as a counterpoint. It's a hopeful but honest look at a future where AI makes us more human, not less, and where the greatest thing we pass to our children isn't fear but possibility.
